RUMOR: Next Xbox to be Always Online, No Secondhand Games, Blu-ray Discs, and a New Kinect

The next Xbox will always be online eliminating secondhand sales, uses 50GB Blu-ray discs, and will ship with an updated Kinect, according to a new report.

Sources with first-hand experience of Microsoft’s next generation console have told Edge that the console will be completely committed to online functionality, but games will still be made available at retail. Retail games will ship on 50GB Blu-ray discs and will include an activation code, meaning they will have no value beyond the initial user.
The sources also confirmed that the rumored next generation specs are pretty accurate, meaning that the console will contain an AMD eight-core x64 1.6GHz CPU, a D3D11.x 800MHz graphics solution, and 8GB of DDR3 RAM.
Finally it was revealed that the next Xbox will ship with a new version of Kinect, which is said to be more reliable and responsive.
Many believe that Sony will announce its next generation console at an event on February 20, but the question is when will Microsoft make its move?
